August 2009

School started this year on August 19, 2009. Being the great mom that I am, I forgot to take school pictures this year. Devin is entering Junior High at Washington JR. High, Garrison is in 4th grade, Miranda is in 2nd grade and Parker and Wyatt get to hang out with me. We are all keeping plenty busy. We have 4 kids signed up for soccer, 3 kids taking piano lessons and 2 in gymnastics. One of them twice a week. Roy is the Ward clerk so we don't see him before church. I am in the RS Presidency so off and on during the week I have things going on. Wyatt is so used to me going to meetings that when I dropped Garrison off at scouts, he told me he had a meeting at the church and needed to go in. Garrison will receive his Bear in November 2009. Devin has his Life and if he gets going can have his Eagle by the time he is 13 or shortly thereafter. Parker keep asking when he gets to go to a big school with lots of kids, he doesn't realize how soon it will be here. Wyatt keeps talking about Grandpa and Grandma coming out and says they can sleep on the couch. Grandma gets the big couch and Grandpa gets the little couch with Parker. Nice and cozy.

Cheese Ball and Flowers

Here is a picture of some of my flower's. They bloomed all year. Hopefully they can survive another winter and come up again next year.

My kids have been keeping busy this summer. Devin and Garrison are doing the YMCA swim team. They are loving it. They are looking like pro's. I do have some video of them swimming I will add later. Miranda is on the Pre-team for Gymnastics. She is going twice a week for 2 hours at a time. She is enjoying herself. Parker is taking gymnastics also. He has fun. His co-ordination is amazing. He has only been in for 10 months. Wyatt is going crazy watching everyone else get out of the car and he has to stay in his car seat and tell them by. He does get his time. We go out front with him in the evening and he gets to drive the power wheel up and down the street. We are having a fun and relaxing summer. We did take the kids up to Branson to Silver Dollar City for the 4th and then made it back home for the Bentonville Firework's. What a day. We had a blast!

Devin and Roy are up near Springfield MO at Devin's 1st official Scout Camp. Hopefully we will have a few pictures to show.

We finally went down to Locomotion from Christmas. Roy got some coupons in his stocking and we used them. It was a fun family outing. It is great to spend time with the kids. We went for Father's Day. Bonus, we got to holiday's in one. Garrison
