Devin is learning how to bake. Watch out GIRLS! He is pretty good.
This is his first attempt at baking a Lemon Meringue Pie. He did an awesome job. There was only one problem with our directions from the cookbook we used. It didn't tell us to add the sugar to the Lemon, therefore, it was a little tart, but our Meringue was perfect. We did try again and it was tasty.
We went to Utah for spring break in March of 2010 for 2 reason's. We were going for Roy's work meeting and for Miranda's Baptism. We started our trip in St. George where Miranda was baptized with her cousin Ariana Kirkland. They were baptized on March 20, 2010. Miranda was baptized by her dad and like her brother's was confirmed by their Grandpa Dell. It worked out well for us to do the baptism in St. George that week-end. My family and Roy's family were all down for a big baseball tournament that our nephew's were involved in. Looking back we know it wasn't a coincidence that Roy's work meeting was to be that week. We left St. George for Pleasant Grove, UT. Roy went off to his Meetings and my parents and I took the kids sight seeing. We went to Temple Square and the Dinosaur Museum in Ogden, UT. We left to come home on Saturday. We were home for 4 days and my Grandpa Young passed away. We were able to see him the week we were there. We turned around and drove back to UT. It was Conference Week-end. We got there Saturday afternoon. When we woke up Sunday morning there was snow. It was April 3, 2010. We had the funeral on Tuesday and left Wednesday morning so we could be back by Thursday for school. We got in Thursday morning at 7, showered the kids and took them to school.
